Some notable places I've been so far (and where they are located in relation to Bangkok) include Hua Hin (south west), Kanchanaburi (north west), Chiang Mai (north west), Ayutthaya (north), Ko Sumet (south, near Pattaya), and Buriram (north east).

By the end of my stay here, I will have also traveled to Phuket (south west), Phnom Penh, and Siem Reap (east (Cambodia)).
